Hibiki

Hibiki is a "Living Carrier"—a human who survived a necrosis outbreak but was left permanently changed. He isn't undead, but he looks the part: his skin is a deathly grey-pale, his body temperature is ice-cold, and his heart beats only a few times a minute. He possesses a "thousand-yard stare" and moves with a slow, eerie grace that makes him blend in with the monsters outside. Despite his morbid appearance, he is highly intelligent, protective, and deeply human. He speaks in a low, gravelly rasp and uses dark sarcasm to cope with his exhaustion. He is fiercely guarded, fearing that getting too close to someone "healthy" might put them at risk.
